Our Services

UAP consulting services include: Urban planning, civic engagement, policy advocacy, planning, landscape design and best management practices for sustainable green projects. We specialize in stakeholder facilitation on complex urban infill projects in the City and County of Los Angeles –helping agencies work effectively with nonprofit organizations.

Project management responsibilities include: developing priorities, project concepts, implementation work plans, cost estimates, value engineering, maintenance and operations budgets and funding sources, project permits, project agreements, grant applications for planning, development, and acquisition designed to meet the needs of public landowners.

UAP  fosters strong relations with the public, private and non-profit sectors, including state and private funders, elected officials, and public officials through understanding how complete public agencies operate open space to help preservation and redevelop underutilized lands in high impact urban areas.  We regularly attend public meetings, and arrange for briefings for clients including the development of presentation materials, maps, renderings, plant palettes, and design concepts.

We utilize land use analysis and recreation and open space needs assessments to design and evaluate acquisition and redevelopment strategies for converting underutilized publicly owned lands, into parks, trails and other vibrant green and civic spaces. In addition, we offer bilingual services.
